Royal Icing icing prepared with the use of powder is shiny and smooth, without lumps, thanks to which it is easy to spread and squeeze out when creating decorations. It dries to a solid mass, therefore it is not recommended for covering large surfaces of a cake. It is also used to permanently connect decorative elements.
