Lovers of Italian flavors need no introduction to focaccia - soft bread that most often serves as a snack before main courses. Of course, a soft pancake with herbs and olives can also be used as a substitute for bread for breakfast, and as an addition to soups.

Spelled focaccia is easy to prepare and even total novices should have no problem making it. However, remember about the time needed for the dough to rise. It is worth keeping this in mind and starting preparations well in advance. In the Naturalnie Zdrowe brand mixture, it was decided to use spelled flour instead of wheat - this will make the bread richer in nutrients.

Recipe:

1) Dissolve 25 g of traditional yeast or 10 g of instant yeast in 330 ml of warm water at a temperature of 26 degrees

2) Add 10 g (about 1 tablespoon) olive oil, the contents of the bag and mix for 12 minutes, then leave covered for a quarter of an hour

3) Gently form a rectangular cake with your hands, then fold it in half and then in half again. Set aside in a warm place and covered for half an hour.

4) Repeat the operation and put the dough into an oiled form and leave it covered for 35-40 minutes.

5) Press the risen dough with your finger to create wells approximately 5 cm apart. You can put olives, capers, etc. in the recesses.

6) Bake in an oven preheated to 220-230 degrees. After 15-20 minutes the spelled focaccia will be ready.
