Tahini paste, or aromatic sesame paste, is not only exceptionally tasty, but also beneficial for our health. Sesame seeds, from which tahini is prepared, contain large amounts of healthy fats and calcium, thanks to which the consumption of the paste prepared from them will significantly contribute to improving the daily diet, which is often poor in this element. Thanks to tahini, we can prepare our own homemade hummus - it is the sesame paste that gives it its characteristic taste, as well as the Arab dish baba ghanoush or falafels. Tahini paste is also great as an independent snack, an ingredient of sauces, dips and even sweet pastries, to which it will add an appetizing sesame and slightly nutty aroma. You can spread it on pancakes, waffles, combine it with a wholegrain sandwich or prepare an original dip for vegetables and raw fruit on its basis. Add a small amount to an exotic soup, thicken a meat sauce or stew with vegetables. You can try to create a paste that, when mixed with rice or groats, will create a unique flavored stuffing or stuffing for peppers, zucchini or baked eggplants.
