The ceramic baking beans from FunCakes can be used for blind baking dough. Blind baking a pie crust is necessary when it will be filled with an unbaked filling (like cream) or when the bake time of the filling is shorter than the crust. Cover the baking pan with the batter, place a layer of parchment paper over the dough, place the beans on top and bake the cake.
